Ivana Barbaric

Professor Ivana Barbaric, Centre for Stem Cell Biology, School of Biological Sciences, The University of Sheffield, UK

Ivana Barbaric completed her DPhil at the University of Oxford and the postdoctoral training at Sheffield University. Her research focuses on the basic biology of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) and their applications in cell therapy and disease modelling. Ivana is a member of the Steering Committee of the International Stem Cell Initiative, the General Secretary of the BSGCT and a lead for the genetic stability of hPSCs within the UK Regenerative Medicine Platform.
