The European Society of Gene and Cell Therapy has as its objective the promotion of science and research. We achieve this in part via scientific and educational activities, in particular through measures aimed at the promotion and exchange of information and ideas in gene therapy, cell therapy and genetic vaccination, and the encouragement of research fields and clinical applications. We support the activities of national gene and cell therapy societies that share this goal, and we are pleased to endorse the BSGCT in this regard.
