| BSGCT is looking to recruit an early career representative(s) (ECR) to the BSGCT board. This person will be responsible for advising the board from an early career researcher’s perspective and developing recruitment strategies and events centered around early career BSGCT members. The successful candidate will be expected to attend monthly teleconferences with the rest of the board and will receive free registration for the BSGCT annual conferences.
BSGCT defines an ECR as any individual actively engaged in research within the field of gene and cell therapy who is at an early stage of their career. This includes individuals working within industry from apprentices up to but excluding those in a senior research leadership role; and individuals in academia from graduate students up to but excluding those who have a permanent position. The successful candidate will be selected by the current Board and announced at the BSGCT Annual Conference 20th June 2025.
